Boarding begins at 5:00 pm on the first day of the charter. The yacht must be returned to base by 6:00 pm on the evening before disembarkation for inspection, with checkout by 9:00 am the following morning.

Security Deposit & Payment Terms

A 50% deposit confirms your booking, with the remaining 50% due four weeks before departure.

A refundable security deposit is held against the yacht for the duration of the charter, and is reduced when you charter with a skipper. The amount depends on the yacht and is confirmed with your booking. It is released after the boat has been looked over at checkout.

Charterer's Responsibilities

The charterer takes on full legal responsibility for the charter, certifies the sailing competency of themselves and any crew, is responsible for keeping the yacht in good condition, and must supervise children aboard at all times. Any technical issue must be reported immediately, and the charterer covers all provisions, including meals for any hired crew.

Skipper & Hostess Responsibilities

Where hired, the skipper is responsible for navigation, mooring, fuel and water management, and general deck upkeep. The hostess handles daily shopping, meal preparation, and keeping common areas clean. Both are expected to be professional at all times and happy to share local knowledge and tips.

Cook's Responsibilities

Where hired, the cook prepares three meals a day and keeps the galley and common areas clean.
